Teaching Philosophy
Using biblical integration tracking tools and strategies for all our core and elective subject areas, we align our sequencing of core content with state and national standards for learning excellence. In this way, we also meet all needed MN requirements for graduation so that students are college and career ready when they launch. For a small school we have a robust set of elective course offerings. This is accomplished through partnerships in the community and hands-on learning experiences. Creating life-long learners requires learning that goes beyond books and the classroom—we provide a balance of both.
Accreditation & Affiliation
Alexandria Community Christian School is accreditation through Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). In the Spring of 2024, our grade 9-12 course works was approved by the NCAA. Atlas Curriculum Mapping and FACTS SIS are tools we use to execute best practices of education and non-profit business operations, allowing us to monitor and report curriculum strengths, track student progress to ensure our students meet standards, qualify for state graduation requirements, and have a thorough biblical integration. In addition FACTS platforms allow the business side of our operations to create a easy access interface for families and students.
